It began in south bronx.
Then moved to Compton.
Then it moved to atlanta( killer of rap )

Could rap be over because it is dead?
Eminem and 2 pac were the only true rappers who rapped about something other than girls and cars and cribs

With all due respect to the real rap artists of the 80's, if Rap were to die tomorrow, it would be a GOOD thing, because Rap has completely turned to crap!

Gone are the days of REAL rap. Its just a bunch of bull-hooey now!

As soon as it left the east coast and became commercialized, it started sucking. Eminem you say? Please, he's a hack. MC Serch & The Beastie Boys were the only respectable white rappers, any others are just commercial, no sustinance.

Just my opinion...

ok um eminem is the suckiest rapper ever, he doesnt rap, he TALKS in songs. Plus he cusses every other word. I think white guys cannot rap and they need to stop trying. Second of all, rap is never gonna "die", wev got new hits every month, sheesh

Only upbeat, fun rap songs are good. The rest, really, isn't good nor does it have any talent involved....Bach and Beethoven would be mortified because it isn't music at all.
