"Even a man who is pure of heart
and says his prayers by night,
may become a wolf when the wolfsbane blooms, and the silver moon is bright."

There is no scientific evidence of actual werewolfism, as portrayed in legends and movies. However, the concept of lycanthropy (not necessarily limited to wolves) exists in many cultures, from the loup garou of Western Europe to the weretigers and Rakshasa of the Indian subcontinent, to the hengeyokai of Japan, and the werebears and werewolves of Native Americans.

Your use of the English language needs improvement. I like dem? Hello!

There are no werewolves. There is however a rare mental illness called lycanthropia. Where the person believe that he/she changes into a wolf, the likes of what the movies portray. A person suffering from this disease is called a lycantrop.

hmm...not the bloodthirsty, shapeshift during the full moon, die of silver bullets, ones of legends...

But werewolves do exist. Personally, I'm not one of them...but I know a few, seriously. Do some research on "spiritual therianthropy" (which means animal-man in latin)

These are the words of one who has studied spiritual therianthropy for a few years now, so I know what I'm talking about.

By the by, I'm a kitsune

When the wolfbane blooms and the moon is full. I am a black wolf. I start munching from the back side of the lap and root my way inside. I hope we meet someday.
