Like most things in life, it's a matter of point of view. It depends on why you went there in the first place.

NO,
Unless you would be happy with a minimum paying job or a job in the fast food industry, but then even McDonalds managers are expected to take classes from McDonalds University.
If you only have a high school degree, you can enter the military as a enlisted person; seaman, private, airman etc. However, for almost every other job you need a college degree. Especially, if you want to ever get behind a desk or into management. In fact many business school students have to go back for a Master Degree so they can advance in their company.
You could work in the construction industry, but supervisors have college degrees, even many farmers have college degrees. There are other examples, but basically any job worth having is going to either require a college degree or have a promotion ceiling that requires a college degree.

Going to college is overrated maybe, but completing college isn't. You'll find a very small percentage of college graduates regretting that they completed college.
Unless you're very entrepreneurial and you're already equipped to own your own business, It's worth it to complete college I promise you. It opens up much more options for you. If you don't complete college and you work for others your whole life they're going to own you a lot more because you'll have fewer options.

Absolutely not. Hopefully, in college, you grow and become independent...become more knowledgeable, learn how to problem-solve, manage your time, become more social without losing focus. Depending on your major (e.g. business/marketing/management/finance) you learn a lot of practical things that are applied in future jobs. You network/meet people who can help you in the future. You make life-long friends. You get paid more.
But if this isn't what you want...yes, it's overrated.

it could be.
it really depends on what you are looking for out of a college experience.
i knew lots of people in college who were only there because it was what society expected of them and because it is the only way in today's society to get a good job.....supposedly
but i dont think college is for everyone
i think only people who truly value education and want to learn should go to college
and you dont have to go to college. there are other ways to learn.
college does not make you smart.
not all smart people go to college.
that said, if you do not plan to go to college, you should have SOME plan for your life

No, studies show that a person who has a college degree will make almost one million dollars more than someone with just a high school diploma.

Depends on what you want to do as an occupation. If you want to be a doctor or a lawyer...ya..go to college. For some, it IS a total waste of time and money.

i believe a little bit. especially ivy leagues. i was shocked to hear from my cousin that at work, what college you go to does not play as major a role as your character and work ethic.
however it is still extremely important to me to get at least a bachelor's
