Pray for your husband and your marriage every day; I usually do this before going to sleep. Treat him like you would like and expect to be treated. Be honest; this is hard for every wife @ times; but it is important. Make sure he knows you expect nothing less in return! Continue to date after you are married! That can be anything from looking really nice on occasion to doing something sweet and unexpected for no reason at all. Obviously, communicate. Listen to him instead of always talking or he will stop talking himself... Read and learn from others [i.e., books, marriage experts, etc, ...] Last but not least, you must take care of yourself. Continue to grow... meaning, you need to allow yourself to develop and bloom. Don't lose yourself in the marriage. So, get some time for yourself to enjoy, chill or decompress; because, If you are not 100% ~ you will have so much less to give to the marriage... Expect everything you give to this marriage to be reciprocated. Know that you deserve it today... and 20 years from now. Good Luck to you.
