Do things for people in your neighborhood. You can mow lawns and do chores and errands for people. Maybe you can run to the store for elderly people who have difficulty leaving their homes. Start a dog walking service. Babysit. Petsit. Or how about the old paper route. Just think of little errands that people in your neighborhood may need help doing and offer to do them for a reasonable price.
If you're really good on the computer, you can offer your services to older people in your neighborhood who may not be as technically inclined. Help them set up their email, set up word processing documents, work on digital photos -- whatever you may find easy, I'm sure there is someone in your neighborhood who didn't grow up with computers and finds that stuff hard. Be creative and advertise.

There traditional stuff can be wildly successful. Dog walking/ pet sitting is good if you like animals. Lawn mowing service is popular. Babysitting can be a big moneymaker (you can get first aid and CPR training at the Red Cross, this is a big selling point and can raise your price by about a dollar an hour). My 14 year old cousin made $1100 dollars babysitting last month.
If you're good in school you can try offering to tutor younger kids.
If you're the crafty sort you can make things and sell them to friends or on ebay (beaded jewelry, crocheting, little sculpy monsters)
You may have trouble getting a 'job' job because of your age. Lots of labor laws really limit the hours and types of jobs a kid your age can work.
Don't forget to try your parents, offer to clean the garage for $20. Anything above and beyond your usual chores might be a chance for some quick cash.

In Canada you can get lots of job as a teen. You can maybe do a garage sale, that would get you big bucks and occupy quite some time. Baby sitting too, unless you don't like kids :) Dog sitting or pet walking. Mowing lawns, doing a bake sale or a lemonade stand. Good luck. P.S. When I was 13 which was last year. I tried lots of different jobs and the most successful one would be garage sale and bake sale. Not really with the baby sitting because most parents did not trust a 13 year old with their kids. Hope this helped.

An entrepeneur at 13. And using internet! Impressive. My concern is that you're 13. Don't be a slave to buying things. There is greater pleasure in just enjoying life. If you intend to make money anyway, then make it worth it. Think like a businessman. Make your money work for you. Have your parents take you to a financial advisor. If you invest for example, in a Roth Ira, or regular Ira...you can watch your money grow. If you invest at this age, you will be far ahead of most people when you retire. Read the book Rich Kid Poor Kid. It's not how much you earn that's important. It's what you do with it.

the only job a 13 year old should have is doing good in school and being a kid. enjoy your youth while you can because once you start working, its downhill from there. i do admire that you want to work, just do some odd jobs for your neighbors or do extra chores around the house. a 13 year old should not have to worry about money right now. just enjoy being a kid!

You sell on Ebay? Why not talk to the managers of those stores you are talking about to see if they have excess merchandise you can sell for them or charge them to learn how to sell for themselves. Be creative, kiddo!!!
