I know what you mean! Such a beautuful thing ruined by the gross and immoral gays. Im so tired of them yapping off at the mouth and announcing thier sexuality. Im with you though! I think it's nasty! Gays cant even start thier own family naturally. They could never have thier "own" child. That prove's that its not right!

Personally if they want to have a symbol...then fine...just get one that isn't already being used to represent something else! The rainbow was originally a symbol of God's promise to Noah to never flood the earth again. It's kinda how the Nazis took their symbol...what once was a symbol of peace and good luck (used by other cultures) was turned into a symbol of hate. I am in no way of comparing gay people with Nazis....but i'm just against people taking symbols away from their true meaning. To me the rainbow will always means God's promise and love...not a gay symbol...too bad the rest of the world forgot what it REALLY means.

If you had a clue, you would notice that a rainbow and a gay pride rainbow are different. A regular rainbow has seven colors, ROYGBIV. A gay pride rainbow only has six colors, so obviously they are not the same. So you like your rainbow and we will like ours. By the way, people like YOU, make us sick!!!!!!!

The rainbow as you know is a sign of God's promise never to destroy humankind. You as a right-wing fundamentalist Christian might wonder in your literal understanding of the Bible that if the rainbow is a symbol that God will not ever destroy humankind, it is likely that gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered are blessed by God as part of humankind.
I do believe however, that Hell and Divine Retribution is reserved for those who usurp God's right to judgment and condemn others for who and what they are.

Welll you seem to be very much into rainbows. Luckily you still have unicorns and kittens to decorate your room.
Now for the mature answer. There is nothing wrong with the homosexual lifestyle. Hatred for any person, race, preference is wrong. Love, not judge.

I'm with you. I think they use the spectrum (rainbow) for exactly that reason: to try to camouflage the wrongness and perverseness of their chosen lifestyle and make it seem acceptable. They did the same thing with the word 'gay', remember? It used to be a word with all positive connotations, and just like the spectrum it had nothing whatever to do with homosexuality.

Well Daffy Taffy, I don't think "the gays" ever thought to get your permission to "use the beautiful rainbow". Who knew you owned the copyright.
Do you have any other deep psychological scars you'd like to share with us?

Maybe homosexuals use it because of Judy Garland and the song "Somewhere over the rainbow"? I don't know, I actually think it is an interesting question (although not posed the way you asked, since I don't think it is wrong to be homosexual and I think your post is judgmental and rude).

Sigh, trolling gets annoying kiddo but here goes.
The rainbow is meant to be an inclusive symbol meaning that gay transcends most normal boundaries between people (race, culture, religion etc). It's also a clear and positive symbol meaning that despite all of the crap that we have to deal with we will survive and persevere.
Why do you have such a problem with homosexuality anyway? If you are indeed heterosexual and confident in your orientation then homosexuality literally has NOTHING to do with you.
Cheers,

You know what makes me sick? Intolerant people that ask moronic questions on this site. No one that disagrees with you needs to worry about getting best answer though. You'll probably choose the first response, as it completely agrees with your ignorant opinion.
