I have been to a couple of cock fights. The animals what were killed were not eaten. Everyone I know that kills a deer eats it that is a big difference.
When I attended these fights cockfighting was legal.

Deer hunters and duck hunters and fishermen do not go out and torture animals for the fun of it. These animals are killed swiftly for food or for population control.
Hunting is NOT the same as cockfighting or dog fighting. Pitting animals in a ring to abuse and kill each other for profit serves no real useful purpose other than to provide a means for betting and promoting blood-lust.
"Inherited culture" doesn't make it right...lots of things that used to be considered "normal" are now against the law. They were never right, and it just took awhile for he law to catch up to that fact.

If you have seen a cockfight like you say. You would not have to ask this question.
I have, it is very bloody. The rooster is seperated from its kind. Bred and trained to be aggressive. When fight time comes around. A sharpened spur is tied around each leg. They then attack each other, until one starts to retreat. The other then goes after it. If not called off, the loser is either killed or left to die. Thrown in a garbage can! A lot of money changes hands, bidding increases when one of the rooster starts getting the upper hand.
Rooster fight, that is their nature. But, the fights are short and the injuries are minimal.
This is hardly sport! Roosters are not very smart. They do what they are trained to do. If they die, so what. The owner goes and trains another one, and the cycle goes on.
So much for culture!

Because the goal in deer hunting is supposed to be to kill the animal in a way that cause the least suffering, and then use the deer meat for food. I know it is part of your culture, but the goal of it is to watch animals make each other suffer, and that is why people think it is inhumane.

Hunting and c ockfighting are way different. Hunting doesn't require hunters to take one dear and pit it against another until one dies! Your very last statement " o yea and if u say deer hunters can kill deer just to keep the population rite..well that's what cockfiters do." Doesn't make sense!! I didn't realize there were so many roosters around that you have to fight one against another for money to keep the rooster population from getting out of control. That was a feeble attempt to justify what you do. It's called "cruelty to animals" when you make one animal fight another till one dies...along with when there is money involved! Maybe we should take you and one of your fellow c ockfighters; make you both fight until one of you dies; and bet on the outcome. Would that make it better for you? It would make me feel better to do so.....animal abuser!

Anytime you put animals together to fight each other for sport, most people consider it cruel and inhumane to the animals.

I don't understand why anyone would want to see animals kill each other, how would you like for someone to put on razor sharp spur rs and scratch at you till you bleed to death? Anyone who likes to see animals tortured is not human in my eyes!
