I need help picking a color, length, and everything else for my 8th grade formal dress in May. I'm tan, light brown hair, and brown eyes.

A dress just below the knee and NO strapless dresses- light purple with white heels low pumps about half an inch so the you can dance
purple eye shadow, purple or black eye liner and mascara
and maybe some glitter either in your hair or on your body and - BAM!!! Every guy will want ot dance with you

Shorter dresses are in! Get something classy. Somethign you can look back on in 20 years and not cringe :) A nice color, no glitter or anything tacky. A nice classy dress you can glam up with shoes and jewelry! A form fitting dress would be best, if youre a little chunky go for one that flares out poorfy at the waist, so cute.

i am tan, light brown hair, but i have blue eyes and my 8th grade formal dress was cream with accents of lace, short sleeved and ended just at the knee...and the nice thing was i could wear it to 9th grade homecoming in the fall. Remember that you want to look classy not trashy.

For your skin tone, I suggest a light peachy- gold color. It will make your skin look glow-y (if there is such a word.) I suggest a silky material, spaghetti (well..it depends on your school dress code. My school doesn't allow spaghetti straps) and either ankle length of just below the knee. Any shorter than that and it might look like a nightie. Best hopes to you!

Windsor or Forever21 have stunning attire i'm in eighth grade too and that i will get mine from Windsor this weekend notwithstanding that's truly severe priced yet in case you truly bypass to the shop they'd have a sale rack!!! also Forever21 has fairly wonderful attire and they seem to be a fragment of the cost compared to Windsor. yet you should bypass to both and observe in the experience that they have got some thing it truly is excellent for you. on your hair you should leave it down or get a hair crimper and crimp it because once you've layers it may well be puzzling to placed it up. wish I helped and characteristic relaxing at ur formal!!! : )

It sounds like your describing me...lol.....were a mini cocktail dress above the knee. With stilletos, and updo if your hair is long enough. Colors such as baby blue or tickle me pink. Stay away from darks and oranges. Keep it soft

floor length or ankle length is always in style. and im also tanned, dark eyes, dark hair, so i tend to go with bright colors. pink maybe for 8th grade. or pale yellow or peach. good luck

colors- black, brown, or any color that u look best in.
lenght- since its formal, maybe about the knees somewhere
hairstyle-somethin loose and up with a bang (dont cut ur hair if u dont have one) and a bun or something with strands of hair coming out of the WUTEVER, maybe curly or straight.

pink or a light green, and short formal dresses are def. in i would go short! u shuld check out dillards they have super cute dresses normally, last year for prom dress shopping they had litterly hundreds of dresses for under 100 b/c they were on sale, they were cute, glittery, short sexy!

the color shud pop out so all eyes can b on u
also maybe it shud hav sum diamonds (fake)
and den ur heels shud have diamonds 2
