i now its late but im writing a report about his death and all of the bio's ive read about his just say "crimes against humanity" but i need something specific.

There were many charges brought against Sadam Hussein. He was tried, convicted and executed for ordering the extermination (death) of ten of thousands of his own countrymen (ethnic Kurds). He did this in reprisal for an assasination attempt on his life. He would have been in court for decades if he had to stand trial for all of the crimes he was charged with.

Thats what he was hanged for. Gassing the Kurds or genocide was dropped against him since he was dead.
