for a man to believe it when I say I will never break his heart ?
Because I think I looked and sounded serious enough when I said it, but he didn't believe it !! any tips?

its just gonna take time, you have to show him, actions speak louder than words, so stop talking and show that you are his and have eyes for no other. I have heard the same thing and the woman swear to it, swear that she would rather die than to cheat, and then as soon as she was down the road, she was telling the other man the same thing, it doesnt matter how trustworthy you are, he has heard it all before from a woman that was equelly convincing if not more convincing, so let him see that you are not typical, like he is used to and time will gain his trust good luck

I'm sure you mean it, but I wouldn't believe it if someone told me that either. Weird things happen when it comes to matters of the heart. People fall out of love, fall in love with other people, find out they have nothing in common, etc.
You may not be planning to break his heart. I'm not saying you will, but you never know what might happen. He might even break yours!
Love is a game of chance. There are no guarantees. Just focus on the present, and let him know you love him deeply, and that you would never WANT to break his heart. That's the best promise you can give.

hi! He might have been hurt in the past and now has trust issues. Keep reminding him how much you love him and how much you care about him and why. He is going to need reassurance and time, if he does have a trust issue.
