Taking into consideration that I am a Yankee fan as well as the fact that I go for experience, I will have to go with Jeter and A-Rod. Jeter has won four World Series rings including winning one in his first year in baseball. Also, he has made may memorable plays like the one against the A's in the 2001 A.L.D.S. He makes the kind of plays that a coach or manager couldn't teach to anyone. Same with A-Rod while he was a SS even though he didn't do well last year. But, there is always next year. A-Rod is a sure thing to hit 500 or more home runs in his career. I don't even know if David Wright could even hit 40 in a season. Jose Reyes is good, but Jeter is a proven winner. So, I am going with Jeter and A-Rod.

I'll take the youth and potential of Wright and Reyes. I would love to have Jeter on my team but I honestly believe Reyes will be more talented than Jeter ever was later in his career, though he's not the leader that Jeter is. Arod is a pretty boy choke artist so I have no problem choosing Wright no matter how good Arod's numbers are

A risk taker might pick Wright and Reyes, both are young and should have a tremendous upside. I like experience too, so I go with A-Rod and Jeter. You know what your getting. Derek jeter is the captain of the most storied franchise in baseball history for a reason, he is a leader. A-Rod might very well be major league baseball's homerun king by the time he retires. They've both put up huge numbers for several years, Jeters won a few World Series. Regardless, you are definitley talking about two of the best left-infields in baseball today.

I'd go with jeter and Rodriguez.Wright and Reyes are exciting, talented young players with tremedous potential, but it's impossible to put these guys in the same category as Jeter and Rodriguez just yet. I need to make one correction to your assessment: You can only count on Jeter in the clutch. He is one of the best now, and certainly one of the all-time greats in baseball. A-Rod is not a clutch player. I'm not impressed that he can hit 3 home runs in a game against a mediocre team because when October rolls around, A-Rod looks more like Chi Chi Rodriguez at the plate and in the field (I don't mean the golfer when I say that, I'm referring to the character played by John Leguizamo in "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything"). They'll never win with him in the line-up.

A-rod and jeter. I love david wright and jose reyes they are prbably the most exciting shortstop and third baseman in baseball. But a-rod and jeter have shown over the last 10 years that they are among the top two players in baseball, and that's why i would pick them. But about 5 years from now i would probably pick wright and reyes because they have really bright futures and both look like (at least) 10-time all-stars to me.

Derek Jeter

I'd pick Wright and Reyes over Jeter and A-Rod any time. Why? Well, it's true that A-Rod and Jeter are more experienced and yes, their stats do speak for themselves. On the other hand, Reyes and Wright are relatively inexperienced compared to Jeter and A-Rod. However, Wright and Reyes are much younger and they have possiblities to become players like Jeter and A-Rod. Also, they're more exciting as players for me. They have great chemistry and personality and heck, if I were a GM of a baseball team, I'd pick young talented guys like Reyes and Wright who have bright futures ahead of them while already showing promising talents at such young age. Plus, I don't have to spend double the amount of other teams' budget. All Reyes and Wright need is experience.

Derek Jeter and A-Rod. Seems to be every1's answer... They have so much more experience. Even without that experience, they still put up better numbers at Reyes and Wrights age... Jeter is my favourite player and A-Rod is 4th behind Mo, Cano and Jeter, but still, theres no way you can't pick those 2.

A-rod and Jeter. Jeter is a solid defender and a clutch hitter. A-rod is an MVP type player no matter what criticism he recieves. Wright and Reyes have to be consistent for a few years before i can even think about ranking them alond with Jeter and Alex.

Definitely Reyes and Wright. A-Rod just isn't a third baseman. Jeter and Alex are shortstops, David Wright and Jose Reyes also have good chemistry, and they love to play the game.
