I think I am thinking I am so skinny I need a mini skirt and a tank top but,I need a belly button ring to complete it does it hurt?

The belly buttons is one of the least painful piercings someone can get. I have my Medusa, cartilage, tongue an belly button done, and the belly hurt the least. But it also depends on your pain tolerance. So if it's low, then i would opt for a 'fake' ring. But other than that Go For It ! Here's a Link to what some other people had to say as well. :)

In my country, the practice of piercing ones body for vanity is now deeply frowned upon. The risk of introducing an intramuscular staph infection is too great to warrant the procedure.
Our society has also determined that such piercings promote other societies biases of one belonging to a primitive culture.

I got it done when i was 13 and it was in for about 7months and one day i was lifting my little sister up and the zip of her trousers got caught in it and it tore out the belly bar but 2days later i went back down to get it done again but i had to wait till the tore tissues of my navel had healed(or summit like dat) so i went back down about 3or4 months after and i'v had it done since..oh the point im tryina make is NO it DONT HURT..if i did i wouldnt of went and got it done a 2nd tym..
Check up some piercing parlours and make sure they have a good reputation and decent health approved work place..Go for it Gal...

just for a little
it is soooooooooooo worth it
oh and you will only throw up, if you are really nervous or scared about it like I was
that was the worst part not the piercing part

Well to some it does a little, mostly after. I remember when I got it I didn't feel a thing. I just looked up and waited and the guy said I was done and I was like "That's it?". So maybe it won't hurt you.

It hurts but its over very quickly so u hardly notice and it just stings a little afterwards, looks cool though!

I think it would. In my opinion, it is crazy to get anything other than your ears pierced.

yes it does! its like cramps from a period but think abotu it, if soemoen stabbed u with a needle, woudl it hurt?

ya it herts a bunch , my friend curtney got her belly perced.she said it hert. it can get infected to and an infected belly herts horribly.

im skinny too... my friends told me that the clamp hurts the most... but it didnt hurt at all! takes about 5 sec. to do... its worth it!
