If I bought a sansa sandisk e260, would I be able to use itunes and convert songs from itunes onto my mp3 player?

Probably. I doubt youd be the first. You might have to transfer to the comp and then re transfer to the mp3 player. Let the comp do the conversions.

i have a sandisk and itunes won't work on an mp3 player only on ipods. You should try downloading limewire or ares then transfer the songs to windows media player and sync them.

I am not familiar with iTunes, but try this...
If your MP3 player can play .wma (Windows Media Audio) files, try convert those iTunes files to .wma on your PC, then copy the converted .wma files to your MP3 player and see if it plays them.
