Yes, it does hurt quite a bit. However, I would call around to find different facilities to find a place that specializes in waxing. The proper technique can make all the difference.
Also, some places offer numbing spray, so remember to ask about that. I've even heard that some places offer anesthesia. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. But it never hurts to ask. =o]

Yes it hurts, but not as bad as getting the entire brazilian and its quicker. I get the brazilian and it was quite a first time experience It was like all Heck broke loose.
I did begin to take a tylenol or motrin before I went back and now I got this product called "Scream no more" Wax lotion that numbs the area. It works.
But for a bikini wax, if you get a good waxer, it will be over before you know it and you will enjoy the outcome.
Good luck.

YES it hurts, but it's better than shaving ... for the fact of not having hair regrow as fast.
But it's quick, so it's not something that will hurt you for the rest of the day. Just a few minutes.
Try it.

yes it does, use Nair Hair Remover. You can get it at Wal-Mart and its cheaper!! Its not as messy and doesnt hurt AT ALL! and all you do is apply it to (you know where) wait for about 5 minutes, then wipe it off with a towel. It works so well...if you use it right....heres a web site on it.......

The first few times it will be uncomfortable, but tolerable. After while you'll hardly blink.
