Ok, so I just 'discovered' Leonard Cohen. And I LOVE his song Hallalujah. Is he a Christian singer? Like he refers to the Bible...but in a confusing way.

Also, if Aly and AJ are Christian singers how come their songs are about guys and stuff and they're never singing to God. What's with that?! If your a Christian you want to live for him and be an example and these girls (if they really are Christians) have a chance to make a difference, I mean! If I was famous I'd be talking about God in my singing or whatever! I don't get it! Please explain!

Oh, in Protecting me by Aly and AJ they talk about "You, you're always there for me
When I need you most
Day and night you're by my side
Protecting me"

But then they go on to say:
"Whenever, where ever baby"
--And you do NOT call God 'baby'.

If you could give me more info about them that'd be amazing!!

they are Christian..but like all girls, they love to sing about boys. their music has to apply to everyone..not everyone is religious, some people are atheists.
about the Protecting Me song..i didnt get why they said baby either. that was a song dedicated to their parents. so they are definitely family oriented too. family oriented usually means Christian. but oh yeah theyre definitely Christian.
yes they did sing some Christian songs..their Christmas cd were traditional songs and all the songs except the first one were about the true meaning of Christmas. Good King Wenceles, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen etc. on the cd Into the Rush, Never Far Behind is a Christian song..you can tell because near the end they say God is never far behind. yeah its all about God.

I love both but I kinda like Aj the best. I went to one of the hannah montanas concert and jonas bros were taking a break so Aly and Aj filled in for them, it was awesome. I like the song Potential Break Up Song and Like Woah! I love the beat to it, I also like it because they kind of share their past times in the song which is awesome! Their music IS wonderful, it's just sooo, wow
