Your G6 is setup to run on 89 Octane ....
If you forgot that your G6 is a GTP then you need to step up to 92 93 Octane for the SuperCharger...
There is NO spare oil Container for just the engine.
If you have a SuperCharger you do have to change oil in it every 5000 miles

Pump your gas from the regular unleaded nozzle. Don't use premium, it doesn't help and can actually cause problems. Every so often, use a tankful of mid-grade, as it has some cleaners in it. Some will tell you that premium will give better gas mileage. It doesn't, but if it were true it would have to deliver a very noticible difference to make it pay. Use regular.
BTW, there is no such thing as a supercharged G6 - that's a Grand Prix he's thinking of.

Is the the 4 cyl. G6? Actually, the answers to your questions are in the owners manual...including the recommended gas for your car. Most vehicles these days do just fine on regular gasoline.

The most important thing with gas is to use the octane rating the manufacture recommends. If you use too low or high an octane it won't run smoth and wear out quicker.
Enjoy:
