Because you can't control outside elements effecting what you have planned.

For instance, you plan a kids party. You invite 8 kids, you have planned for 8 kids. Only 7 respond. Only 6 arrive. One arrives sick. Two arrive late. Two gifts are the same.

If you planned the whole thing, you would have given specific instructions over what gifts to be bought, what time to arrive, etc.

Make the most of what you plan, and be flexible enough to go with the re-routing it might take. If you are flexible, then it will still almost turn out the way you want..

Because in our plans, just like life itself, there are way too many variables .... and the odds are that things will never be exactly as we planned.

That said, it's better to plan and do than not to plan and do... yanno?

Because you expect things to turn out to be a certain way, but other things can happen that you didnt plan for.

Because when you depend on others to make your plans go perfect, their hearts are usually not in it like yours is and therein lies the problem.

sounds like your plans should be more thought out i.e look at every angle and determine all the possible possibilities
