why isnt anything being done about the genocide going on in Southern Sudan? i mean persanally i dont think the US troops should get involed but i think the UN should do something or someone??

George Clooney is making a strong individyal effort, but no one person can do it all. He has gone before congress and has contacted the UN people and now we have to see what happends.
Go to "Save Darfur.org" and sign a petition set up thru G. Clooney
and it will be sent to the President and the UN.

I come from a country in the middle Europe, where our president is trying to make the best efforts as he can to help resolving the situation. Also by informing and making calls for donations throughout the whole country. So people are trying.
But true, countries like U.S. and a lot of others don't do enough. Even though they have more stability and more power. It would be ignorant to believe they need to be informed by their citizens through petitions. It's always right to keep your clean voice up - however.
But leaders know exactly what is going on and they LET IT. I don't believe the same goes for U.S. I believe leaders/CIA are quite involved. You know - LIKE ALWAYS. Somehow. Not in a good way, of course.
P.S.: Don't underestimate the power of talking to people around you - or asking what you are on websites like these. Always needed.

the UN is corrupt and they have trouble getting stuff done. Also there is a lot of fighting there making it hard for aid to get there Fortunately there is a sieze fire there i think.
