wouldn't it be better to have an iPod that looked and functioned like the iPhone with bigger memory (except for the phone) instead of the actual iPhone. Just my opinion

yeah u are probably correct. The iphone does everything but it does not have the same features of what a phone should have. 5 hours talktime is not a lot at all for a mobile phone and 12 hours music playback is not a lot either. You will be charging it pretty much at the end of every day. 2 hours video playback is not very good as the best films are at least 2 hours long. It also does not have a removable battery which is a pain as you might like to take a spare one with you. It beta have a screen cover or a touch pen for the touchscreen as well as u will get finger marks all over the screen!!!! other than that and the high price and 2 year contract should be good!!!

That is a good idea. I think that they should have both, just in case you don't want to pay cingular every month.

well i think the iphone basically is just an ipod with a phone and its worth it when you look at it cuz its like paying for a phone and an ipod separately.
and some places have it at even a better price. if you put in your zip code at this site, http://www.doiop.com/iphones , they'll tell you stores in your area with better prices than the 500 dollar retail.

Iphone is pretty much amazing..its going to be the best PDA out there on the market..DONT KNOCK IT!

I read on www.iphoneware.com were i preordered my iphone and iphone accessories . unless you plan on design buildings or civil enginering on your phone you don't need 30 gigs come on
