I was asked that a few days ago when my sister was looking at my dogs near bald stomach. Dogs don't have belly buttons because a bellybutton is the result of what was an umbilical cord and dogs don't have umbilical cord, I think it's because there are usually multiples when a dog breeds. Nope they dont. to have a belly button you need to have a ombilical cord. only humons have them because i think it carries the food and the cells to the embryo
