There's a genetic component and a societal. Men tend to have more muscle mass than women. On top of that, society encourages men to exploit their natural gift and make themselves even bigger than nature would allow, either through excessive exercise or drugs (steroids). men are also allowed to have calluses which result from rough work. many male dominated jobs require muscles.
women are encourages to be generally thin with far less muscular development. calluses are frowned upon. typical female jobs encourage soft skin and little muscular development.

The chemicle testosterone(sp?) which is produced by Im pretty sure the testicles(It may be another male unique organ) will enhance a males ability to grow muscle mass naturally. This chemicle is also the reason for why males are more competitive, protective, violent, and well...male than women. Steroids are false forms of testosterone which will cause a person to become bulkier and more competitive, this also has an effect on the testicles, how it affects Im not sure, but it decreases their mass.

Hello first of all greetings for asking such a question!!!
Generally the guys are stronger than gals because it is the system and the mindset we have had for centuries.
Earlier only males used to participate in war and heavy duty works, but not women. It has been a misconception set by our elders in our brains, but now a days we can find women in the battlefield also. In Indian mythology we can find even ladies in battel field but only on certain occasions.
So I could only say that guys are pretended to be physically strong, which is not at all 100% but on the other hand women are 100% mentally strong is in't it?

Guy are usually stronger than girls because most of them have more muscle mass. And the reason why guys have more muscles is because guys have much more testosterone than girls. Testosterone is a hormone that promotes the growth of muscles, and is also the hormone that stimulates production of sperm. Even among guys, those with naturally more testosterone will find developing muscles easier than those guys with lesser testosterone.

Body Mass and Testosterone. I saw recently on the Discovery Channel though, there was this Olympic 100lb woman weight lifter (no, she didn't look grossly bulked up) who was pound for pound stronger than her massive 300lb something male teammate.

Cause guys do alot more athletic sports and its easier for us to build muscle for some reason

they are not really "stronger" but boys are naturally bigger. thats why girls are more likely to get heart desise because a girls body is naturally smaller than a guys.
