They started in London in 1994, and they lasted until 2001. But, in 1998 Geri Halliwell left the group. She was my favorite, so that was sad for me.

Judging through the undesirable list revenues and the flood of live performance tickets on e-bay at below face cost, it hasn't worked. all the negative press about the 'in-battling' can not have helped both. i imagine they ought to bow out gracefully and go back to their solo initiatives.
