ok so i was on dell.com the basic laptop that i want starts at $649 i went on earlier today and it was only $499 so i went back on my home computer about a half hour later and its back to $649 what is that all about?

Yeah..then when you call them to order that $649 becomes $829 (that's what happened to me) watch out for them..they're sneaky.

Dell runs specials that if you don't jump on them right away when you see them, you just lose out on the great price.
I bought my wife a Dell last spring with a 19" flat panel for $350. So you have to be ready to buy when you see a great price.
