Soak the cigarette in Dawn & Water. Let it dry, then light it up, smoke it. My mother did this to all her kids after she caught us smoking. I'm STILL sickened by a cigarette after 15 years.

I am not a smoker, therefore I cannot understand just how strong the addiction can be. Nevertheless, I have thought about this and if I was a smoker, I would reduce my smoking over a long period of time. If you smoke 25 cigarettes a day, go down to 24 for a few days, then go down to 23 for a few days, etc. I think over time, you will barely notice. Write it down, keep accurate track. Make sure you spread the cigarettes over the whole day so you don't really have to go without for part of the day. Simply delay each cigarette slightly. If a strong craving comes when it shouldn't, in order to avoid needing the extra smoke in your day, do something that thoroughly involves you or that would monopolize your concentration for 15 minutes, like a quick entertaining video game, a run around the building, going up several flights of stairs or for a walk (you will be too far to come back for a smoke and the craving will be gone by the time you return). This may not be easy to do at work, but people may allow you to do certain things if you explain that you want to quit and that your smoke breaks will be reduced. Best of luck!

When you are really determined to stop, choose a moment that you are not anxious or nervous to quit definitely smoking. Then, put to garbage cigarette packs, lighter, ashtrays, etc. Try to don't hanging out with people who smoke and going to places where people smoke, like bars. If you have smoking crave, who is normal in the first month, you can chew gum and drink a lot water to clean your system. Don't forget that only you have the will to quit smoking. Good luck!!!

Smoking is very bad for you. It is good that you want to stop at a "young" age.

Well if you want to stop smoking, it is very important that you stop buying cigarettes; meaning you throw out your current box right now.The next step will be very difficult; you must break the addiction. By this, you can either take your mind of smoking; either you can chew gum, which helps a lot, or eat or drink some water. For example, if you are on a diet, you would want to maintain your balance of foods. Say that you want to eat a piece of chocolate, think about what it is going to do to you body. In other words, think of the consquences of smoking; lung cancer. T

My point is, think about the people who want to see you smoking, no one wants to see you smoking. Smoking is not cool, and does not do ANY good. You are not only hurting yourself, but others too; second hand smoking.

I wish you good luck with this. I know you can do it! You just have to believe that you can, and THINK about what your doing to yourself when you smoke a cigarette. BREAK THE ADDICTION =]

First and foremost you have to stop hanging out with people who do smoke and going to places where people smoke like bars. The second most important thing is you have to have the willpower to tell your cravings no. The first 3 days are the hardest and if you can get through those you'll be ok. I quit cold turkey cause for me there just wasn't any other way.

Well know this, you will quit smoking one way or the other and for me it does not make sense to keep smoking until you get sick. maybe quiting before you get sick just makes a lot more sense. I had tried to quit a least ten times before I Findlay was able to quit a year ago last Jan 9. I tried everything potions, patches and pills of all sorts. The thing that Findlay worked for me was cold Turkey. The main thing is to believe in yourself and even if you fail, just keep trying until you do. Its hard but well worth doing. good luck with that.

Pay up front..... with a six ounce glass of water. In other words, you have to drink six ounces of water before you can smoke your cig. I've found that drinking the water through the straw helps to curb the craving.......You'll find that all this extra water is gonna flush the nicotine from you system faster and you'll not gain all the extra wt that most do that give up smoking.

Just remember to 'pay up front'.... no credit! You gotta drink six ounces between EACH cig!

Just stop. Don't make an issue out of this. Just stop. Cold turkey is the most successful way to quit both in the short and long run. NRT-nicotine replacement therapy only drags out the misery.

Try acupuncture, but make sure you're seeing a reputable O.M.D.
I work for an acupuncture office and have seen customers come in for stop-smoking treatments which, as far as I know, have been successful.
