BEEN THERE! I'M INTO TEN YEARS OF MARRIAGE OF LOTS OF LOVE AND LOTS OF EMPTY PROMISES. TRY NOT TO TAKE IT PERSONALLY FIRST OF ALL. HE HAS GOOD INTENTIONS. THEY ALWAYS DO. I REALLY BELIEVE THAT. THEY SEEM TO HAVE THIS CONFLICT OF DOING WHATS RIGHT AND MAKING US HAPPY AND DOING WHAT THEY WANT. WOMEN STRESS ABOUT KEEPING THEIR PROMISES, FOR THE MOST PART. MEN ALWAYS ALLOW ROOM FOR ERROR. AS LONG AS THEY CAN SAY, "I HAD SO MUCH TO DO AND RAN OUT OF TIME...SORRY SWEETIE." THEY WILL THINK IT'S A GOOD EXCUSE. OR HE MIGHT SAY "WELL, IF IT WAS THAT IMPORTANT, YOU COULD HAVE DONE IT YOURSELF." THAT'S WHERE US WOMEN GET THE BAD RAP OF BEING NAGS. MEN KNOW WE'LL BE HERE, SO THEY PUT OFF OUR PROMISES 'TIL LAST. IF WE NAG ABOUT IT WE'RE BEING "BITCHY", BUT IF WE DON'T WE'RE REALLY SUPPORTING HIS HABIT AND GETTING RUN OVER IN THE PROCESS. DON'T GET ME WRONG. MEN ARE WONDERFUL. THEY JUST HAVE THIS FLAW OF FINDING IT SO EASY TO PROMISE THE WORLD (OR TO FIX THAT FAUCET) AND THEN RUN OUT OF TIME WHEN THEY'RE NATURAL SPONTANEOUS BEHAVIOR COMES OUT. I THINK THAT'S IT IN A NUT SHELL. MEN ARE SPONTANEOUS. THEY REACT ON IMPULSE OF WHAT THEY WANT AND FIGURE THERE IS PLENTY OF TIME FOR THE REST. I JUST HOPE THESE EMPTY PROMISES DON'T AFFECT OUR CHILDREN.

Because they are extremely lazy and know that women will anyway finish it if left undone. A part of that is also faulty upbringing and pampering from childhood. Sorry to say but they assume that house work is a woman's portfolio...and that they are in the house just to enjoy the positives of the same.

that's men for you my other half hasn't been to work since week before Xmas i had Xmas day and boxin day off even went to work when i was ill and still came home and did the usual cleanin washin ironin etc while he sat on his backside playing an Internet war game be nice to have the choice not to go to work what comes for working for yourself i suppose
