A few studies have shown that there may be an increase in miscarriages among women who consume more than 300 mg (three 5 oz cups of coffee) a day. Other outcomes include preterm labor and low-birth weight babies. Again, it is safer to avoid caffeine as much as possible.

A pregnant woman should not consume ANY caffeine: Experts and studies have stated that "moderate" levels of caffeine have not been found to have a negative effect on pregnancy. The definition of "moderate" varies anywhere from 150 mg - 300 mg a day.

(150-300mg is about 1 can of soda)

What To Drink To Have A Miscarriage

t think drinking three will cause her to have a miscarriage. However, I would tell her to stop ASAP. There is so much caffeine and sugar in an energy drink among other things that are bad for you. She needs to give these up and start putting her baby first. If she doesn't have enough energy, she should try eating better, drinking more water and getting enough sleep. Good luck to you and congratulations.

There should be a warning right on the stupid energy drink container. Your girlfriend needs to wise up caffeine is a diuretic which means it makes you pee more and that could make her loose water and calcium. No more than 3 Cups of say tea or coffee is all the recommended amt for a pregnant woman to drink. Also, very few studies have shown that it could cause a miscarriage.

There are still studies being investigated on the effects of energy drinks and the unborn. What we do know is that they contain mega doses of caffeine which in itself might not cause a miscarriage, but possible deformities and birth defects. I would tell her to drink water instead.

Probably not but its still possible that she could. If she wanted to drink all the time then maybe she should've thought twice about getting pregnant! I.myself, consider that child abuse even tho the baby isn't even born yet! But anyway, the baby can be born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome among tons of other defects due to her negligence. Its not right and she needs to stop before its way too late!

way too much caffeine for the baby. She needs to limit her intake.

caffeinated beverages don't appear to cause birth defects, preterm labor, or delivery in people, but they might increase the risk for other pregnancy mishaps. The most consistent findings, if any, are with fetal growth retardation, miscarriage, and low birth weight. Women who consume more than 300 mg of caffeine daily are at highest risk. That's the equivalent of three 5-ounce cups of coffee (or six 5-ounce cups of your half-decaf coffee).

If you mean Red Bull, then the caffeine will harm the baby, and her!
The odd Glucose drink will be OK, and that is all ANYONE should drink, to perk themselves up, caffeine is bad for your heart, and is a narcotic, it does not give you any physical boost, it is all mental!
