Free? Too risky. Ultra-cheap? Very easy. Try this website: www.gomusic.ru and you won't be sorry. You can legally download an entire cd for around $1. How? It's a Russian website (IN PERFECT ENGLISH). They deal with Rubles. Ever see the exchange rate of dollars and rubles? You'll clean up with legal music and no stupid DRM blocking you from transferring your purchased music.

Myspace I suppose, some of the artists let you download their songs for free. Most of them won't so you just search for them and see if anyone else has made a music profile and put songs on it and most of the time you can download them from there too. Like if you wanted to download All-American Rejects, instead of going to their official one look at the other profiles that say All American Rejects but aren't the actual one. Then they should have the music on there.
