Ok. I'm not retarted and I'm not stupid....I'm sure I'm not the only person this had happen to. But one morning I woke up to shower and I see this green bruise (I'm asian so when I bruise it's green instead of purple....and not it's not a passion mark). And now it's getting bigger and now more light green-yellow-ish. I'm sure I didn't bump into anything to get it bruised and nobody actually punched it to get it bruised. This isn't some type of a bad condition is it?

Ok.....it's still on there. It's been on there ever since I first asked this question. Could it be a sign that your breasts could be developing to make breast milk from pregnancy....if it is...I'm scared to tell my mom to take me to the doctors.

Hi Dear; Registered nurse here; Okay, if your 100% positive you didn't accidently injury your breast then yes there is reason to believe you could have a blood dyscarsia. This means abnormal blood count for some reason. The list of possibilities is endless, and from my stand point here on the internet, it would be pure speculation. I strongly recommend you make an appointment with a OB/GYN doctor, if not able to get in immediately. I would then go to the nearest emergency room, they can run a quick CBC, complete blood count. From this alone the Emergency Room physician can have a pretty good ideal if you need immediate treatment and evaluation or if you can wait for an appointment with OB/Gyn. Sometimes, one can cause there breat to bruise without being aware of it. I know once several years back I was getting clothing out of the washer and during the process of reaching down into the washer, pushed by breast up againt the machine, no pain, next day I noticed a fairly large brusice on my breast. Immediately went to my family practioniner, being a nurse I thought the worst. Anyway the Doctor ask me questions, and told me to tell him all I could think of that I had done in the past 2 days no matter how trivial I thought it might be. He determined that it was pushing by breast upagainst the washer. Explaining to be that the breast are very vascular and it doesn't always take a hit, punch or noticeable pain to cause bruising. He did run a battery of test, all of which came up negative. Please make an appointment, for you need to be reassured, plus on the outside chance something is amist, now is the time to find out, so treatment for the problem can began at earlest stage.

All right, just breathe. Unfortunately, I do think you need to go to the doctor. There is a condition called IBC-Inflammatory Breast Cancer. It presents with swelling, unexplained bruising, and just plain oddness rather than the more traditional lumps. There are also other conditions that can cause unexplained bruising. You don't have to tell your mother you're concerned about pregnancy, just tell her you have some unexplained bruising. While you're there, get a pregnancy test...are you old enough that your test results are confidential?

sounds like you bumped into something and did not know it. also possible that you are anemic. wait and see if it goes away before you talk to your mom. wait as long as it would take a bruise to normally go away on other parts of your body. I have bruised everywhere, including there; it always goes away.

I see you have a nurse that has answered pretty well. I am not a nurse so I can not do better than her. Take her advice and see a doctor. It is better to be safe than sorry. God only gave us two breasts to enjoy. Take care of them.

Good Luck! :)
