You can't go wrong with a black dress - possible having sequin or beaded detail at the top (like a swinger type dress). Go with strappy sandals that are less than 2 inches, that way you'll still get some height without the pain that 4 in heels cause....

If you don't really want to go as anyone in particular or you don't have much time just try going as a general movie star. Wear a nice sweepy dress a feather boa and do your hair nicely.

What about dressing as Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction? All you'd need would be a black wig, white shirt and black trousers. Thats who I dressed up as before. It was cool. Anyway hope you have fun whoever you decide to go as :-)

Think of a hollywood starlet that you could imitate. Get a nice dress and do your hair the same way.
Or you could go as something easily recognisable...Lara Croft!

ok i'm guessing that you're female - if so marilyn monroe is always a good one if you want to go with the classic look and it's so simple. A blonde wig, white dress, red lipstick and a fake beauty spot ;)

go in a short gold glitterey dress, gold tiara, with ur hair in ring lets, and gold shoes. and alot of gold bling. also were alot of fake tan. over do on the fake tan its a PARTY. lol
