Better be seeing a doctor. When I was 22, I developed a sore throat, kept pushing the limit, (12 hours at college, trying to work 35-40 hours). And party. Doc said strep throat. Guess what? Came down with mononucleosis and jaundice. Missed three months of school, caused me to not graduate. Never completed my degree.

i had it A LOT major and i always went to the doctors cuz it was really bad i went to the doctors one day and i thought he would just give me sum meds. but the next thing i no hes taking me into surgery cuz i couldnt breath it was that bad i got my touncels out and havnt had it yet its been a year and i feel great!! But u got a while if u only had it once it gets worse

I never had it until I was 28, then I got it every year for 3 years after that and I haven't had it since....the 3rd year was the worst, couldn't eat anything...sleep was minimal it hurt so bad, lasted 3 days.

I had it a few times, but mostly I have had non-strep throat infections.

My daughter's first time for strep was in 12th grade. She didn't miss any school.

I get it every time I get really stressed out at work or don't get enough sleep on the weekends. It sucks, huh? I lost my voice COMPLETELY the last time. It's very annoying. My boyfriend and his friends thought it was hilarious.

Yes a couple of times actually.The last time i had it i had to take an antibiotic.
