It ticks me off more than anything. I'm just curious as to how mad this makes others? At a place I used to work me and my friend actually put up a notice on the fridge that we were going to call the cops next time it happened. It was funny until human resources took it down. (ps we had a LARGE lady working in HR dept) Have you ever confronted someone or caught them red-handed eating your food?

No...the boss threw my salad out once, she thought it was her old one. A really good way, if sorta evil, to get even is to add a little something....you know who ate yer stuff when they spend the afternoon in the restroom. You have to be careful not to add enough to actually hurt them, just give them a good case.

I work in a classic office setting. Being a college-student, I get extremely pissed off when people eat my "marked" food. I especially get upset because most people know i'm a college studnet - they shouldn't be eating a college student's lunch! Grrr....

If it's not marked...then it's fair game I feel. We usually have food of some kind in the lunch area from some committee meeting that morning. So - recently it hasn't been a problem. But, it's definitely an issue. If it doesn't have to be refridgerated, I just keep it at my desk.

OMG Yeah I hear ya! That guy or woman relatively could get a clue. It makes me so mad whilst people do this. comparable element occurs at my paintings - properly i don't depart nutrients for merely that reason - yet I completely observed 2 women getting in the path of the refrigerator 'searching for something to consume' (their words precisely). Like, that nutrients isn't YOURS! yet, such as you, i've got self assurance humorous asserting something. I hate having to depart notes on issues. i might extremely detect a fashion around it. Hmmm - in keeping with possibility (and this might completely be enjoying video games, yet in spite of) come to paintings mad sooner or later and faux that somebody ate your lunch the day before - say something like 'somebody completely ate my entire lunch and that i had not something to consume all day - ugh soooo indignant' ensure numerous people hear you. by way of fact it is not a real tale, all of us will pass "oh, it is poor", including the thief. She wont get disillusioned by way of fact she wasn't the guy who ate your lunch (it under no circumstances existed), yet she'll get the factor that this upsets you. you may as properly ***** to her approximately some 'secret guy or woman' stealing your nutrients. I guess she wont do it returned. Yeah, its beating around the bush even with the undeniable fact that it kinda saves face...

Easy fix.... At my former company, we had food stealers left and right..... it was horrible.

We started spiking the food with all different things... we sprinkled powdered food coloring on sandwiches & cookies... in small amounts. This way you could not really see it with the naked eye, but when the person ate it, their lips immediately turned color... BUSTED...

One person even make ex-lax brownies & left them in the fridge for a few days... eventually, they were stolen... lord only knows what happened then.

Don't get mad.... get even.

I have never had it happen but others have told me it has happened to them. It's VERY rude! I would clearly mark my drinks and food items and say something if it happens again.
