Personally, you should name your baby whatever you like .... whether it's a boy or girl Aiden is a beautiful name for either ... look at the name Leslie, I know both boys and girls with that name, so really who's to say whether a name is geared more towards a boy or girl.

I think that aiden is one of those names that can go for both a boy and girl. I think that it sounds really cute both ways!!

Definatly a boys name, but i think it's starting to become a unisex name. I don't like it for a girl though. Theres a British actor on the soap All MY Children named Aiden Turner (he plays Aidan Devane, hehe) and he's quite yummy. So yeah, Boys name.

It's a boy name. It started out as Aidan and now has many variants: Aiden, Ayden, Aden, etc. Like many pretty boy names, parents of girls have started using it (the same thing happened with Jordan, Morgan, and Riley...and it's starting to happen to Micah). For girls, the most popular spelling is Aiden.
I really prefer it for a boy.

I think it could be both, but it's normally used for a boy. I have a baby cousin named Aiden Jay, and I picked out his middle name, he's A.J. for short! I've never known a girl to have the name, but I think it could work...I love the name.

I have only known boys with this name. There is a famous actor named Aiden Quinn. My friend's son is named it as well. However, I think it would be great for a girl as well.
