get a lot of foreign fruit. Then plant them on where non-fruit bearing trees or the fruit you start out with were. YOu will have to cut them down. This way, the tree will always grow. Once you have filled your town with trees, sell them to Tom Nook! You will get 500 bells per fruit; very easy money. To hold more then the regular 15 items, you can get 10 letters. Then attach one fruit a letter. When it is time to sell, just put them back into the regular item space when you have room. Try to buy matching sets of furniture. This will give you much more poins in the happy room academy. Some seasons, you can catch fish that are worth more. It will be easy to get foreign fruit if you can go on wifi, but if you cant, you will have to wait for a coconut to float onto you beach, or you "mom" will send you one.
Donate all the fosils, fish, and bugs to the museum. To get your villager's picture, talk to them A LOT, and be very nice to them.
Don't run on flowers, but plant many of them so the villagers will like your town.

Pick the weeds that randomly grow so that your neighbors don't complain.
Plant and water flowers so that the neighbors like the town more.
If you spend certain amounts of money, Tom Nook's shop will expand. If you invite a friend through wifi and they buy something from Nook's store, he will expand it to its largest form.
Catch fish and bugs and dig up the dinosaur bones with a shovel EVERY DAY, then donate them all to the museum. Sell the bones if the museum already has them.
The more you talk to your neighbors, the more they'll talk about you when they decide to move out.
Invite others who have the game and have lots of fun getting to see their towns.
Use the slingshot and shoot down presents that appear randomly at times ending in 4's. ex: 09:24. Shoot 15 down to get a golden one.
Use your shovel and go around hitting the rocks with it. Every day, one rock drops money. Hit it more than once if a bag drops the first time!
Shake the trees for free stuff. WATCH OUT FOR BEES.
Holidays in the game are always fun.
Change the town melody for fun. Listen to it when you enter and leave stores :D
Send lots of letters. Attach things you dislike. Your neighbors will reply and perhaps give you something nice in return.
Deliver things from neighbor to neighbor for money.
When friends ask to come over, BE INSIDE THE HOUSE AT THE TIME YOU TOLD THEM TO COME OVER or they will whine about you not being there.

Check out the forums at animalxing.com, they're very helpful, and apply for the trades and meetings forums. There's also a trade report forum on there...watch it for bad traders and bad visitors.
Gulliver seems to come in the morning for me, be near the top for that...plus the balloons that come xx.x4 ....like at 12:34 or 12:44. I think Pete comes at 9 and 5. Lyle is a waste of time. Always buy paintings from Redd, you never know! Once you have a perfect town, you get jacobs ladders, place these next to other flowers, they help immensely with producing hybrids!
