How much does the rear plastic bumper of a 97 Grand Cherokee generally cost?

Depends on the Bumper itself. If it is a smooth bumper, and no mounting points on the inside are ruined, to get it mounted and painted, $450

If it is a textured rear bumper, one that is not smooth and that has gritty look and feel, your looking at $750 painted and mounted

these prices also reflect the fact that a 97' will be hard to color match when they goto paint it. So the cost will be higher as they try to blend. If you are replacing because you were rear ended in a collission, prices will go up as internal parts have to be replaced or fixed, mounting brackets etc.
