how to make a FAKE Microscope for a project?

i need to make a fake microscope for a project it dosen't need to work but it just needs to look like one. if you dont know tell me if you have any websites that can help me

wow this is very hard...try using paper towel tube for the eyepiece tube...Microscope construction:

Here are some pictures of the finished microscope.


Materials List:
part A - pine - 5" x 2 1/2" x 3/4"
part B - plywood - 5" x 5" x 1/2"
part C - pine - 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4"
part D - pine - 5" x 2 1/2" x 3/4"
part E - 3/4" PVC pipe 6 5/16" long (purchased at plumbing supply stores)
6 wood screws: #6 x 1 1/4"
10X eyepiece
4X (or 10X) objective lens


Instructions:
To make the microscope body:
1. Cut out parts according to parts list.
2. Drill a 1 1/16" hole in part A to hold PVC barrel of microscope.
3. Drill 6 screw holes in part A and part D as shown on diagram.

(These holes should be slightly larger than the diameter of the screws.)

4. Screw the microscope body together.


To make the microscope barrel:
1. Cut the PVC pipe to 160 mm. Microscope lenses are designed to work at this distance apart.
2. Ream out one end of the microscope barrel with a 15/16" drill. If this is done carefully with a drill press, the eyepiece will fit snugly into the microscope barrel.
3. Place the objective lens in the other end of the microscope barrel. Depending on the PVC pipe, the objective lens might fit very loosely, in which case the lens must be taped in place. Or it might not fit at all, in which case, the PVC pipe will have to be reamed out so the eyepiece fits. Then tape the eyepiece in place.
4. Place the microscope barrel in the hole you cut in part A. It should fit snuggly enough so that the microscope barrel can be raised and lowered by twisting and pushing it up or down. If the hole is too large, place a small piece of paper between the wood and the microscope barrel.


You really dont have to follow these instructions if you dont want to. Get some wood and cut the wood and make it into the shape of a straight "C". If you know what i mean. then just drill a whole in the top and insert a pvc pipe or a paper towel tube. i can go into more detail. just email me.

I mean if we were popular, we would also want to have fun, the truth of the matter is that with the money she's making, if we made that money, we would do the same thing, we'd want to go out and have fun, do I think she will become someone like Vanessa? I dont think so, she's created to big of a child fansite, she's just wearing skirt's and other thing's the way all teenage and high-school girl's are doing, deep down she is a normal girl, other then that she's not, she can't be it's impossible, she's popular, rich, talented, she's not normal like us, she has the chance to only go to school 3 hour's a day, she does'nt have to work hard or do her homework or get good grades, that's because she has the easy life in acting, singing, but I personally think she will be a normal "Star" when she grow's up, I dont see her doing anything graphic (Porn) when she grows up, I dont see her becoming a bad girl, I was at Tennnessee when she had her B-day, there were 15,000 people to see her perform because we are from Tennessee she said before she went on to her private party "I'd like to show you guys my friend, most importantly my daddy", she's too much of a daddys girl to do anything bad, Billy Ray responded saying "Happy Birthday Honey, I Love You", then gave her a kiss and hugged her.

take a clear cylinderical colorless glass bottle (60 ml to 100 ml capacity),should be available in home medical chest or get one from scrap dealer or phrmacist.fill it up with water, shut/seal it tightly.
lo your microscope is ready.
roll this on a sheet of printed matter to see enlarged letters etc.
it is a fake,microscope and works - to boot.
try out yourself as to how much to fill or how big a bottle you need.
