Snails like thin slices of cucumber (seeds and all) and mollys like cooked spinach but a varied diet is best. Feed the cucumber and spinach like a treat every 3 to 7 days. If they get to the point where they won't eat other foods and wait for the treat cut them off until they take regular food. a calcium block in the tank the snail can graze on from time to time (like the kind they use for turtles) would be OK as long as it doesn't get soft.

Vegetarian fish will eat about any green veggies that you can blanch(drop in to boiling water for two minutes, then run cold water on them to stop the cooking), and then suspend in the tank.Lettuce leaves(not to high in nutrients) zucchini slices,or frozen peas(they're already blanched)just thaw and gently mash.If you use this method, siphon the uneaten stuff out be fore it can spoil. Twelve hours is plenty. Good luck PeeTee
