I just did a motor saw on a 3000gt VR4(twin turbo) and after installing the battery I am not getting any power what so ever. I checked all my connections, fuses, and made sure i had good connections to the terminals, as well as charging up the battery. I dont have a tester but I do get spark from the battery when I connect the terminals so I do kno it has some juice in it. When I put the key in and turn it, I get nothing at this point, no lights come on, no radio, no sounds, nothing. I am not sure what I could be forgetting? If any one has in intelligent ideas, any help would be great, Thanks...

If you just swapped a motor on a VR-4 ( I have one ) there are a lot of things that can go wrong on the restart. All connections with the computer have to be checked. Your might want to double check that it is grounded properly. With no Radio coming no and no lights, I would check the ignition, the fuses, and finally I would straight touch the battery to the starter using jumper cables to at least see if it will turn over.

This list will go on and on.
Ignition Timing
Battery connections
Starter
Alternator
Fuses
All wiring and connections
Ground strap
etc.

An easy test - If you open the door, and the dome light comes on, then that tells you that the problem is somewhere with the ignition switch or something connected to it.

If you open the door and the dome light does NOT come on, then that tells you that the problem is somewhere with the battery. Make sure it's grounded and that the fuse box is correctly connected

Sounds like you blew the power source relay. Its in the fuse relay block where all the other relays are. Some of those are pretty pricey and others will run you about 4 to 12$ bucks. Good luck.

I have one question are you absolutely sure the battery is in and connected positive to + ,and negative to -, it's happened to people and it is a common mistake .If it is backwardly connected you could do very seriouse damage if it starts to all of the electronics.
If not then it is in all of the connections as another person said.

check that the engine is grounded to the chassis (and the chassis to the battery ground) You can test if the ground is the problem by connecting a jumper wire between the negative battery terminal and the engine and see if it starts.
