I disagree, i think that they are very honourable and positive traits in a person. Society is becoming a very selfish place so fewer people appear to have these traits. I think of myself as kind, caring and i always put people before myself but there are some people who do see it as a weakness and you have to recognise these people and let them know that you are not a door mat otherwise they are likely to abuse your good nature, over the years i have had to learn to balance the two, and even though i let people know that i am not a door mat it is still obvious that i am a caring person. I defo dont think its weak!!

Yes, stupid people think that others will love them for exploiting them....yea. Therefore, kindness is weakness and brutality is success in their twisted tiny minds.

There are alot of stupid people out there who actually think that the people after them will give a damn about their legacies even though that person didn't do a lick of good to those who are expected to do the remembering.

I guess people can't help being stupid. Good thing we don't have to do the same :)

However, thinking and caring for others before yourself is also karmically correct. I know because all my life people have cared for me without my knowing why or how. All kinds of generosity and kind things have been given to me. You will receive what you are giving out. I don't think you need to be a religious fanatic to see that cause and effect probably are connected, and do work...

I think that that is a negative way of seeing things... But in some cases its true... In my opinion you are very nice and have a lot of personality if you dont mind others peoples critics for helping... Sometimes I would like to have the strength to do the same, but it is difficult... Maybe you wouldnt understand because you are able to ignore the critics... It takes bravery to do so..

well i always think of others and help them out where ever i can financially even though i know it could make me go over drawn or worse some people are more careing than others but unfortunately those that are most acring are usually the ones that get taken for a ride in every day things as they play with our emotions

Oh you are oh so right. But this is only thought by the feeble minded who do not think and cannot see or understand the strength that is needed to do so.

People can take kindness for weakness, but they must be pretty sick if they do. Don't they know that what you give out you get back! :o)

"Charity starts at home" that means you have to keep yourself in good shape to be able to help others. If you get sick it is then the others who will have to take care of you.

Well....I think you can and should be caring and kind about others but I think you shouldn't leave yourself out.

If you're not kind and caring to yourself you can't help anybody else.
