I don't see why not. Just keep it trimmed and shave the neck area. You may also want to shave under the eys/the upper cheeks for a more professional clean look as well.
What you would be going for is a very short beard. Even those with a beard shave the areas I mentioned if they tend to have thicker growth in those areas. Check photos of men and men on tv that you've seen with a growth for referance.

Stubble looks great when its well kept, but in those professions it really does not fly well. Consider that even if it is well groomed, it will still be a noticeable distraction. No. Stubble looks unkempt. Let it grow out to at least a half inch sometime when you are on vacation and then keep it trimmed neatly to that length. Nobody wants to trust the wellbeing of their body or their assets to a man who looks like he sleeps under a bridge.

It depends where they work and if it is gross stubble or not. I have horrible facial hair so I like to shave cuz I can't grow sweet beards.
