It sounds like you're talking about and old R-Kelly song. It's called "Sade". It's a remake though, I'm not sure who's the original artist.

That is either Raekwon, Ghostface Killa or Beanie Siegal... can't remember the name of the song right this second though... the three if them make videos and they (the videos) all look the same...that is why I can't differentiate
