It isn't. Vince started bringing it to the type of wrestling HE feels should be wrestling, no matter what the fans want. It just got worse as time went on, and now Heyman is history.
That extreme rules match they just had was what... the first extreme rules match they had in over a month? Why bother calling the wrestlers "extremists" anymore?

The only way its still extreme because the E in ECW means extreme. Thats as far as extreme as it goes. I never saw ECW in its prime, and I heard it was good. But I guess since WWE bought it, its been watered down.

Nope. ECW is not extreme. Thanks to one man. Vince. He took out moves such as the shooting star press and the piledriver, and the COMPLETE hardcore championship (and most of it's division, I know, ANYONE could be a hardcore wrestler, but you know, there are some better than others =D)
He does it, for the "safety of wrestlers" I agree too, but now, ECW is lame. Sure they have guys like RVD and Sabu, but you know. ECW is not ECW with multiple tables breaking and chair shots every 5 seconds. Wish sandman uses his singapore cane to bust up Test. Hate him =K

ECW before it was known as Extreme Championship Wrestling was called Eastern Championship Wrestling, I think, and so do a lot of people that it should go back to the original name.

ECW stinks nobody likes it. It is like the cruiserweight championship among the world hevyweight championship.
p.s. nobody cares about the cruiserweight championship!!!!
RAW and smackdown all the way.
and lashleys manager shouldnt have made him go to ECW :-(

ecw went from great to crap all the extreme rulez matches are gone and its just like raw and smackdown.. they are not bringing it to the extreme anymore
