At one time, in one place, people revered Adolph Hitler who died, was he important?
Christians died in the Roman arenas, were they important?
Some people died in the name of Communism or Revolution. Were they important?
What does important means? It means: something having relevant and crucial value.
What does more important means? It means: something having more relevant and crucial value.
I think everything is important and finding what is more important is useless. It is like saying: I am alive but what is more alive?
What is really important is what you believe, whatever that is. For me, what is important is the reason I think I was put on this earth: to make sure the human species will go on so I made two sons and I hope they will have children who will have children and so forth like my ancestors did to get to me. I have one brother who has 5 kids so he’s all set and another brother with no kids so the line ends there.
What is more important is not a person, a thought/ideology or a group of people. It is yourself and what you believe in.

Most important is belief in ones self. Then an ideology one can revere and unites a group of people.

The only reason to revere a person or a group of people is the amount they live up to a thought/idealogy. We revere Gandhi, for instance, because he lived up to the idealogy of nonviolence and justice for the oppressed, which is a very good idealogy. We don't revere Hitler because he lived up to an idealogy of hate, which is a bad ideaology.

None of the above. Put those three toghether and you have the recipe for a dictatorship.
For a free society, people who are able and willing to think for themselves, and equally important stand up for their beliefs are far more important. And leaders should never be "revered;" they should be given th erespect they earn--and no more--and be held accountablle for their actions.

First, revere oneself then a thought. "Revere" is a bit heavy, don't you think. Respect seems more appropriate.

That is a vague and confusing question BUT:
I would say that thoughts are more important than any of the others. If you take away thoughts, everthing else crumbles.
