My son has a stuffed animal that goes EVERYWHERE with him... Every now and again I throw it in the wash but recently I started to notice this yucky smell around it's nose (which he loves to chew on) that will not come out. Anyone know of any good tips on removing the odor? (This is a very special bunny that came from a family member- she ordered it online somewhere but can't remember where, so replacing it is going to be next to impossible)

DONT! Your son loves that stuffed animal, odor and all. It will be his life long pal and companion.
My 17 yr old daughter still sleeps with her thread bare baby blanket and we dare not wash it. Our 2 1/2 yr old foster child loves her stuffed doggy more than anything. They just love them the way they are.

Without knowing all the materials involved it is speculative to say what will take the smell out. However, a good enzyme cleaner will kill all bad bacteria or mold that may be causing the smell. Suggest you use it in the wash the next time you throw it in, particularly the rinse cycle as enzyme works best while it is wet. Then let the toy set for an hour or so before putting it in a dryer; if you do put it in the dryer.

Soak that area in vinegar or baking soda and water. If that doesn't work try Natures Miracle....its to get the urine smell from animals out of carpet. Get it at the pet store.
