No- this is not normal. Normal cycles are spaced between 24 and 35 days. Anything that is consistently out of this range needs to be evaluated by a doctor.

Sounds like you are irregular. Are you by chance a teenager? I used to get my cycle twice a month or for longer periods of time (up to two weeks) when I was in high school. Don't worry. This isn't abnormal. If you are concerned or you don't feel something is right with your periods, see your doctor.

I've never had 2 in a month before, but I've taken birth control for a long time, which is really good at regulating your period. Every woman is different, as long as you're consistent I wouldn't be too worried. Depending on how old you are, you should really think about contraception as a way to even you out, if it bothers you.

If one of the periods is shorter--it is probably ovulation--sometimes you get some blood with this.
When people have not had their periods for very long, they can be very irratic--you can miss one or have an extra. It shouldn't last too long--if it does, see a doctor.

There is such a thing as a 15 or 16 day cycle so it isn't totally abnormal. I'd check with your OBGYN just in case though.

No, it's not normal, but you didn't mention your age. If you are young and just starting I suppose maybe your body hasn't regulated itself yet. If one of them is just light spotting, it could be that you are actually ovulating. Either way, you should mention this to your doctor.

I used to. No, it's not normal. It means you're ovulating twice in one month.
See a Gyn about it.

If it happens to you every month, you have a irregular cycle and the dr should give medication to regulate it.
