I have a piece of poster art--silkscreen on paper--that has a small spot of oil on it. I set it the print down on my vanity when I was framing it, not knowing there was a drop of body oil on my vanity. Any ideas for getting this oil spot off the paper? Thanks.

you could try putting some cornstarch or other oil absorbent powder on the oil and letting it sit. then lightly brush it off with a paint brush. Hope that helps.

Try with some salt ? Salt absorbs wine spots, so maybe you have a chance, and if it fails no harm is done to your original.

very dodgy, you could try a warm iron on top of tissue paper it may draw the oil out, but be careful how hot the iron is!
