If you realise Someone (a friend in this case) is not a good influence in you, and actually brings you down when they're supposed to help you and be positive towards you, does that make that person toxic? How can you end up a toxic relationship in a mature, sensitive way, without hurting that person's feelings? The thing is, my friend is really immature, and she'll take it too personally and automatically say I don't love her as a friend and that I don't care about her? How can avoid this from happening?

Well--you just said it yourself--the behavior you are describing is toxic--someone who keeps bringing you down--You are not responsible for your friend--yes--don't go out of your way to hurt your friend--be mature and sensitive, kind, etc.. .but you have a right to break off an unhealthy friendship--just slowly stop hanging out with your friend--put some distance between you--physically emotionally, etc...If they are immature--too bad for them--it is just more proof that you are doing the right thing...and wel--you can love all human beings and all creatures from a higher perspective but you have to choose--to make CONSCIOUS choices about who you want to spend time with and what kind of energy you want to be around-so you can care about your friend just like you care about others as long as you make it clear you DON'T care to spend time with her...Wish her well in your heart and move on...
