If you go to your local Barnes & Nobles or Borders store and check in the collectibles dept., they should have a price guide that would list prices for magazines like LIFE.

Here are sites that offer a book for sale that will give you value guides for old magazines. I suggest you see if you can find the books at your local library.

Anything old has value!! You can check eBay and get an idea of how much old magazines go for. You can also check the going prices for like items at flea markets or go to a book store in there collectibles section and thumb through a few collectors guides. Of course it all depends on the condition and some issues of some magazines are more collectible than others. And last but not least an items value depends a lot on how badly a particular collector wants it. Good luck!!

Many time mass produced items like books or magazine have only a small value, a lot will depend on the condition. I own three books that are over 100 years old and they have no real market value and they are in great condition. your best bet would be to find a rare book dealer, and register with them as they will know if someone is looking for what you have, then you have a "supply and demand" situation, and can charge a little bit more.

Yes, you could definetly get some cash for those old magazines. Lots of people would want to buy those. Try going to some local bookstores and I'm sure you could get some money for those great finds of yours.
