Are they really as good as they proclaim? Is it worth the money? How suseptable to viruses is it? I have heard that it is basicly a dell in a cool shell (meening its verrrryyy cheap and will get viruses often and isent a good bye)

I plan on using it as a gaming computor and would like your thoughts on byeing this brand in both desktop and laptop.

they make good computers but they are way over priced. If your looking for a gaming computer (laptop or dektop) i would suggest taking a look at cyberpower pc. They make yop notch machines at good prices. I know several people who use them for gaming and ive bought from them before, i am very happy.

Alienware is very good, very expensive, and yes Dell owns Alienware. Computers don't get viruses. Operating systems and software get viruses. Windows is the same on a Dell, Alienware, Gateway, or Compaq/HP. Use a good antivirus.

Alienware was its own company but were bought out by Dell. I don't believe that Dell changed anything at Alienware. All pc's are equally vulnerable to viruses, it is usually the user's fault for a system getting infected.
