Start->Run
...then type
cmd
...and when the command window pops up type
ipconfig
....followed by Enter.
Your address will be displayed.

http://www.ipyourself.com

This is the address used to identify your computer on the internet, which may be different than your computer's IP address on your home network, depending on your setup, ISP, etc.

click: START/RUN.../ on the boxwhere it says-Open:, write this: ipconfig
then, press ENTER or click OK
it'll give u a list of things about ur internet connection, it will say:

IP Adress: ***.***.***......

if you have dial up its differerent everytime you sign on ... if have anything else
start
my network places
view network connections
double click on local network connections
click the support tab
