You just need to find the right style of shirt or if you have a sewing machine buy the medium and run the seams in a little to just below bust, put it on inside out and pin it first.

I have the same problem.

The best/easiest solution is to just buy shirts that are big enough to fit your bust, then have them tailored so they fit you in the waist. There is a company (I can't think of the name) that makes button down shirts for your breast size, but they are pretty pricey. Plus, who wants to wear the same shirt everyday? Fredricks of Hollywood has cami's that are sold by your cup size, too.. However, even if you pay 50 dollars for a shirt it may only cost 10 dollars more to have it tailored to your specific size, which is the most flattering.

I have exactly the same problem...I have to resort to sweaters and can't wear button up shirts as it pulls in the chest. A larger size falls off my shoulders and looks bad.

Clothes are hard to find these days. I also think it has something to do with the styles these days. I've worn button up shirts before without this problem but now there's very few I can wear.

You're stuck with wearing sweaters...forget shirts with buttons.

Do you have the problem with pants too...My hips are large and if it fits in the hips, its baggy in the thighs and waist but if it fits in the waist and thighs it's too tight in the hips....UGGHHH! I HATE stretch pants!!! I get jeans and pants that are too big in the waist and pull it tight with a belt and hang a sweater over it. Its tacky but it works.

I like sweat shirts but they aren't dressy enough to wear everyday. Being full figured isn't all its made out to be yet many women only wish they had our problem.

try the medium shirt to fit comfotably in the bust , but tuck it in to show your slender waist and use a belt to accentuate it even more. You could also try V neck shirts or button shirts that will pull the focus of the eye or trick the eye to see the slender of the V carried into the waistline.

I suggest you buy mediums! Most women wear shirts that are too small and it's disgusting looking. Wearing a slightly larger size DOES flatter your figure, especially in your situation. If you are all that concerned, shop at Dillard's. They have a full time seamstress who will alter anything you purchase in the store.

stretchy shirt with draping in the front or v necks flatter the bust line and usually taper from the sides to get the waist line you looking for. also shirts with the small slit on each side accents the hips so your waist looks smaller.

Have medium shirts reduced in the waist by a seamstress. It's not expensive, and if you take a bunch in at once you can get a price break, or just go to one who will discount for quantity. Best of luck.

You just need to pay attention to the clothes you buy because some shirts are made shorter than others and it's pretty obvious. So just hold blouses up to chest or try on the fitting room.

Not sure how you are with the handi-crafts, but if you learned how to sew, you could custom make your own shirts and they'd fit perfectly. My mother had fitting problems and made her own clothes for years--no one could tell the difference, either.
